Hello Husky Family!
It is with great excitement that I write this letter to introduce myself as the new interim principal at Hamilton Elementary. It is a privilege to work with the students, teachers, staff, and families in the community, and I look forward to serving your family in the coming year.
I have been an educator for nineteen years, and over the course of that time I have taught various elementary grade levels. I cherish my time in the classroom and it blesses me to see my students grow. For the last two years, I have served as the assistant principal at Lewis and Clark Elementary. There is so much joy in supporting my staff and students and families.
My husband and I live in Tulsa with three of our four children. He is an educator at East Central Junior High School, and we both are proud to be a part of Team Tulsa. Our oldest son lives and works in Kansas City, Missouri. Our oldest daughter graduated from Will Rogers High School in 2020. She is now a sophomore at the University of Oklahoma. Our youngest son is a seventh grader at Carver Middle School, and our youngest daughter is a third grader.
Along with the teachers and support professionals here at Hamilton, I will work to continue providing students with rich learning experiences. I am dedicated to education and will work to ensure children have a positive, safe, nurturing, and fun environment! I value collaboration and equity for all students. I look forward to meeting students and working with staff, families, and community partners in education.
Education is a life-long journey, and I hope to continue to learn all of the wonderful, unique qualities of Hamilton Elementary. My door is always open and I welcome the opportunity to connect with you.
